Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Grease and flour 3 8-inch layer pans.
Step 3
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Step 4
Pour into prepared baking pan(s).
Step 5
Bake 30 - 35 min, or until toothpick. inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 6
To make Icing combine all ingredients and beat until smooth
Step 7
To assemble, level cake layers and fill and frost with icing.
Step 8
Decorate top with orange peel curls, or candied orange slices
