"Not sure which President this is from. Made with canned milk, '40s through '60s I think. It's plain I think you could use cinnamon or nutmeg."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Heavily butter 2 quart a casserole.

Step 3

Mix sugar, salt and vanilla into eggs, pour in milk and water and add rice and raisins.

Step 4

Pour into buttered 2 quart casserole, set in pan of hot water and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Delicious rice pudding! Mine needed a bit longer to cook but it may because I used the wrong size casserole dish. Delicious ending to a meal! Thanks for sharing!
