Not much of a fish sauce fan (don’t like the smell) and usually only use half of what is called for. This I like. Sweet and tart and salty, with a bit of heat. I can see using it as is for a dipping sauce too.

I loved this substitute for fish sauce — food allergies prevent me from using regular fish sauce in my house, and it is nice to have an easy to make substitution available for recipes! I made exactly as directed and much enjoyed it.
