Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 325 degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl, Beat ½ cup powdered sugar, butter and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Add the flour and pecans and mix until dough holds together.
Step 4
Shape into 1-inch balls. and place 1-inch apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Step 5
Bake 15-20 minutes or until set but NOT browned.
Step 6
Immediately remove from cookie sheet; cool slightly.
Step 7
Add a little powdered sugar to a dish or plate and roll the cookies in them.
Step 8
Cool the cookies completely and roll them a second time in powdered sugar.
Step 9
Store in a airtight container.
