"If your a lover of peanuts and peanut butter you will go nuts for these, salty-sweet just does not get any better than this! Beware, these are very addictive!! After the mixture is cooled you can mix in mini chocolate chips or dried fruit and instead of rolling into balls the mixture can be pressed in a 9X13 pan, then sliced into squares. This yields 12-15 (about 2-inch) balls."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large saucepan, stir the sugar, both syrups and butter together over medium heat stirring constantly until butter is melted and everything is combined (DO NOT BOIL). Remove from the heat and quickly add the peanut butter and chopped peanuts, continuing to stir until the mixture is fully combined.
Step 2
Add the rice cereal and mix well.
Step 3
Allow to cool before shaping.
Step 4
Shape the mixture into palm-size balls with your hands. Transfer to waxed paper. Refrigerate until very firm.
Step 5
Store refrigerated in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks (don`t worry there is not a chance these will hang around for 2 weeks!)
