"I sometimes use instant potatoes when I want to make a quick side dish, I found this on the General Mills website and gave it a try, I was pleased with how it turned out! You could add in some shredded cheddar cheese. Both of the pouches in the box is used for this recipe"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In 3-quart saucepan, heat milk, water and butter to boiling. Stir in ranch dressing mix and sour cream; whisk until smooth.

Step 2

Stir in half of the bacon and both pouches of potatoes just until moistened; let stand 1 minute. Stir with fork until smooth.

Step 3

Spoon potatoes into serving dish. Top with remaining crumbled bacon and the green onions.
