Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine the gin, sweet and dry vermouth's, and orange juice in a shaker with ice.
Step 2
Shake well. Strain into a large cocktail glass and garnish by giving the burnt orange peel a twist and placing it atop the cocktail.
NOTE: To make the burnt orange peel twist, take a strip of orange peel, hold it over a flaming match, and twist the peel slightly. The oil released from the peel will flare up briefly.
