"My husband gave me a Carbon Steel pan for Christmas and the pan is the best Ive ever tried for steak ( and a lot of other things). I used "Bull-Sh.t" steak seasoning available on amazon-its amazing."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Step 2
Sprinkle the steaks on both sides with seasoning, then let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Heat the carbon steel pan over medium high, add the oil, then sear the steaks for 2 to 3 minutes on both sides.
Step 4
Place an oven safe thermometer in the steak and transfer to the oven - cook until your desired doneness.
Step 5
Let sit 15 minutes before serving.
