Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a bowl mix first 5 ingredients (cheese - artichokes) and 1/2 cup parsley and then transfer mixture to an 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Bake crab mixture until bubbling and heated through (20-30 minutes).

Step 3

Preheat broiler.

Step 4

Place bread in a single layer on baking sheet. Divide hot crab mixture among the bread slices (about 1/2 cup each). Top with tomato slices and then the cheese slices.

Step 5

Broil sandwiches until cheese melts, watching carefully to avoid burning (2-5 minutes).

Step 6

Sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons parsley and serve.
