Step by Step Method
Step 1
Saute onions and green pepper in butter.
Step 2
Add beef and brown and drain if needed.
Step 3
Add remaining ingredients, except flour and cook as long as you like. (Simmer 10 minutes)
Step 4
Just before serving, stir flour into a little water and add to stew.
Step 5
Cook, stirring until mixture is thickened to the consistency of chili.
Step 6
Season to taste. They used more salt back in the day lol and native Americans really used salt.
