Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix the sugar, flour, corn starch, spices and salt together.
Step 2
Mix fruit together, then pour on sugar mixture; toss.
Step 3
Put mixture into bottom pie shell. Dot with butter.
Step 4
Put on top crust. Crimp
Step 5
Put in a preheated 425 degree oven.
Step 6
Bake on bottom rack of oven for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake until juices have been bubbling for at least 5 minutes, about 40 minutes longer.
