Meatball Sauce Country Style
"This recipe goes a long way back and surprisingly this ketchup based sauce when served over my favourite meatball recipe still sees to an empty platter. You could also use the premade from the market. You could add garlic and spices but we love this old fashioned recipe just as it is! I often prepare double batches of meatballs baking and freeze on cookie sheets, slipping the frozen meatballs into a plastic bag all ready to go. It allows me to take out the amount I need, thaw and add to the sauce. Great to have on hand for a quick meal or unexpected company. Everyone loves the sauce which usually sees me double the recipe. Works great for chicken too."
