"This uses a 303 can which is 2 cups drained peas, so you are probably going to need 2 cans, but I'm putting 1. Have peas chilled in can before starting . I don't think this would be the same with frozen peas, but that's me, and they used canned for this."

I did use frozen peas - canned are too mushy for me! I cut up some tiny cornichons plus a generous tablespoon full of sweet relish b/c I forgot to buy sweet pickles! I used less celery but more onion, so it equaled the correct amount. Anyway, it was a tasty salad!
