"Yummy! Easy to make, and just a change from the traditional butter, salt and pepper. Now, if you prefer the old method of boiling corn, that is fine; but grilled corn is so good if you haven't tried it. You can cook it in the husks which I prefer, or remove them and then grill. An inside or outside grill works just as well, but an outside grill will give you that smoky flavor if that is available."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Corn ... As I mentioned, if you prefer the "boiled" method, by all means use that. But I love to grill mine. An inside grill pan or outside grill is really the best method, however, you can do this in the oven right on the racks. If cooking in the husks - soak in water for at least 30 minutes up to 1 hour; then, pull the husks down, remove the silk and brush lightly with oil and season with salt and pepper. Pull the husks back up around the corn; and if you want, you can tie the end of the husks with a piece of kitchen twine. If not grilling with the husks on, just brush with oil and season and they can be done right on a grill pan, outdoor grill or the oven.
Step 2
Butter ... Mix everything together and set to the side. If you want - you could get fancy and make a butter log to slice and serve with the corn. But, I just prefer to use a brush and slather the corn with the butter when it comes off the grill. Make it simple.
Step 3
Cook ... Whether you grill them or bake them will determine the cooking time. Cooking with the husks on will of course take longer than without. The grill will take around 15 minutes without the husks / 20-25 with the husks on as will the oven. A stove top grill pan will take a bit longer depending on the pan. And, if you prefer the boil method, just prepare as normal and then slather with the butter. One more method is to wrap the corn after you have removed the husks and silks in foil and then bake. It doesn't have that grilled flavor, but it still is another option if grilling is available.
Step 4
Serve ... ENJOY!
