Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pour milk into large bowl.

Step 2

Stir in food coloring.

Step 3

Add pudding mixes and beat with a wire whisk 2 minutes or till well blended.

Step 4

Let stand 5 minutes.

Step 5

Gently stir in Cool Whip.

Step 6

In a trifle bowl layer crushed cookies and pudding mixture.

Step 7

Garnish as desired.

Step 8

Refrigerate for at least an hour or till ready to serve.

Cook time reflects fridge time

This couldn't be easier to make and it was SO loved by my kids as a treat to get excited for St. Patrick's Day. I am terrible at reading directions, so I read this as layer the pudding, Cool Whip & cookies... so that's what I did. Now reading it back, I think I was supposed to fold the Cool Whip into the pudding. My apologies for messing up this recipe but it was STILL GREAT! (PS: The cookie bits are the best!)
