Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place beans in a steamer basket over boiling water.
Step 2
Steam for about 6 minutes, until beans are tender crisp.
Step 3
While beans are steaming, cook bacon, onions and garlic over medium heat in a 10 inch non-stick skillet until bacon is crisp and onions are tender, about 5 minutes; be careful not to burn.
Step 4
Remove skillet from heat.
Step 5
Add honey mustard and lemon juice.
Step 6
Mix well.
Step 7
Add beans and stir to coat beans with onion-bacon mixture.
Step 8
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
