Step by Step Method

Cook the unpeeled potatoes in heavily salted water for 20 minutes. ((You dont have water covering the potatoes but pour salt on top of potatoes while cooking so it clings to skin)

Split them lengthwise and slice thinly.

Put in colander

Wash thoroughly

Add to saucepan

Mix the mustard with the buttermilk and cream,pour into leeks

And add salt and pepper to taste.

Reduce heat to a simmer and let cook, stirring continually, until slightly thickened.

Serve immediately with the leek sauce poured over the cut like baked potatoes
