"This delicious steak is an Argentinian favorite. It is usually prepared over hot coals but I make this on my gas grill. Serve this up with your favorite chimichurri sauce for a true Argentinian meal."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Process the garlic cloves through a garlic press and rub evenly over the steaks.

Step 2

Season the steaks with salt and pepper to taste; let sit for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Meanwhile fire up grill and bring to high heat. Make sure you light up all the burners, you want the BBQ pipping hot!

Step 4

Place the steaks on the pipping hot grill, close cover and cook for 3 minutes.

Step 5

Open cover, flip steaks, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes for medium rare. Add a minute or 2 more for medium or medium well doneness.

Step 6

Remove steak from grill and allow to sit for a few minutes to allow the juices to flow through the steak.

Step 7

Serve with your favorite chimichurri sauce.
