"This sauce is made for any pasta dish but I love it over rice. This is a very basic recipe - change the cheeses around to suit your taste. I am not sure where I got this recipe I found it hand written stuck in my Italian cook book."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium high heat. Stir in the flour. Continue stirring & cooking for about 2 minutes.
Step 2
Slowly add your milk, stirring & blending all the time. Bring to a boil stirring until you have a thickened sauce.
Step 3
Stir in the cheeses. Continue cooking & stirring until the cheese has melted.
Step 4
Add salt & pepper.
Step 5
Enjoy.
