"Flap steak is a cheaper cut than flank steak, but is great cooked to rare/medium rare and sliced against grain like flank steak. You can sub skirt or flank steak, but cook time will a bit longer. Cook time does not include marinating time. Can be cooked under broiler instead."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix all ingredients except steak in a bowl.
Step 2
Place steak in a large ziplock bag and pour marinade over. Squeeze out air and seal. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes up to 6 hours.
Step 3
Preheat grill to high.
Step 4
Bring steak from refrigerator and let sit for 30 minutes to come u in temperature.
Step 5
Remove steak from bag and grill about 4-6 minutes per side.
Step 6
Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Slice thinly against the grain and serve.
