"I found this recipe many years ago an although its not the real deal its a great and easy recipe for a cold winters night. I serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables, but would be just as great served on its own."

This was SO good!!!! Since the suggestion was to serve with mashed potatoes, I did not bother to make the phyllo crust. Every carb counts, sigh! It all went together so well and was very easy. Only made 1/2 batch, so DH enjoyed the extra Guinness! Going in Best Of 2025

This is very good even without the beer. I used 1-10 inch quiche dish instead of the individual dishes and cooked it for 45 minutes instead of the time stated. This worked out wonderfully for us accompanied with baked potatoes and tossed salad. Thanks for sharing!
