Easy Apple Butter in the Crockpot

"This is easy, let it cook all day and you have lots of ready apple butter. I don't remember how much it made, but it was a lot. You can can it in canning jars if you would like, after. Cooking time may need to be adjusted for differences in crock pots. Mine is fast cooking. An older one might need to cook longer. If you start this at night, it will be done by afternoon the next day."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Peel, core and slice enough apples to fill a 4-quart slow cooker or crock pot so full that the lid will not go down over it.
Step 2
Add apple cider vinegar and cook for 12 hours.
Step 3
Add honey, Sucanat or brown sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
Step 4
Put into blender (or use a stick blender) to blend it like apple butter. Mix all together and cook 4 more hours.
