Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place meat and any gravy from the package in the bottom of the crock pot.
Step 2
Surround the roast with onion, carrots, celery, garlic, 1 cup of the broth, thyme and bay leaf; season with cracked black pepper.
Step 3
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
Step 4
Stir together the remaining cup broth with te kitchen bouquet and corn starch.
Step 5
Lift roast out of the pan, stir in broth and return roast to the pan. Cook on high for thirty minutes, or until gravy thickens.
