Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix eggs, milk and hot sauce in a bowl.

Step 2

Put flour and spices in another bowl.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan to about 300 degrees.

Step 4

Dip Spam in egg then flour 2 times and fry until golden brown.

As Nat said - sinfully good! I'm not a big salt fan so it was rather salty. I used garlic powder instead of salt, but still... Otherwise, SO good! Next time I might cut into 1/4 inch slices to cut down on my salt intake.

Sinful, but oh-so-good! Placed them into a home-made biscuit, topped with a bit of cheese and the fam, let me tell you, loved every bite! Dipped the spam slices into the egg and flour mixture for a total of 3 times and it turned out into a wonderful crispy coating. I did add extra of the seasonings, except for the salt (what else is new). I only used about 1 ½ cups flour, but only really needed 1 cup. A keeper. Thank you, Dee, for sharing.
