Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 2
Place onion rings in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Step 3
Melt butter in saucepan and blend in flour.
Step 4
Gradually stir in milk.
Step 5
Cook stirring constantly until thick.
Step 6
Stir in salt and cheese and pour over onions.
Step 7
Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until onions are tender.
