"A wonderful recipe I have had for many years. A wonderful biscuit to serve on a platter with cheese and meats. Great for a ploughman's lunch platter. You must use fresh parmesan for this recipe, not the processed powdered stuff! I have included both metric and imperial units in this recipe."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl, rub in butter and grated cheeses; mix to a soft dough with the lemon juice.
Step 2
Shape the mixture into a roll 38cm (15in) long, wrap in greaseproof paper, then in aluminium foil; refrigerate for a least 3 hors.
Step 3
Cut roll into slices 5mm (1/4in) thick and place on lightly greased oven trays.
Step 4
Bake in moderate oven for 15 minutes or until brown.
Step 5
Cool on trays and serve.
