"Since my DH is Jewish, I have learned to make a lot of Jewish foods and this is my version of Charoset a delectable concoction that I associate with the holiday Passover. We like it spread on a leaf of romaine or on a matza cracker. My MIL eats it like candy."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place chopped apple in a food processor with sherry and process until finely mashed.
Step 2
Then add the dates and pulse it 3-4 times.
Step 3
Scoop out mash and place in a bowl.
Step 4
Add almonds, brown sugar and cinnamon and mix together until even color.
Step 5
Place mixture in a container with lid and refrigerate.
