Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor, BUT using only HALF the amount of the habanero or scotch bonnet pepper.

Step 2

Process until somewhat smooth, then taste for heat level. Adjust to your taste, and continue processing until a smooth paste forms.

Step 3

Use right away or store in a glass container.

I was looking for a jerk recipe and this was the one I chose. It made my rotisserie chicken so delicious! Make sure you marinade for awhile for all the flavors to come together. It will be used again!
