Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a bowl beat the eggs until frothy.
Step 2
Add the buttermilk, melted butter and vanilla and mix well.
Step 3
Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt, and mix just until just blended - there should be some lumps.
Step 4
Heat lightly greased griddle at 350 degrees.
Step 5
Pour about 1/3 cup of the batter onto griddle for each pancake.
Step 6
Cook until the tops of the pancakes are covered with tiny bubbles and the batter is set.
Step 7
Flip pancakes and cook until the undersides are golden brown.
Step 8
Repeat with remaining batter.
