Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a saucepan. Add onion. Cook until the onion have softened stirring occasionally. Add minced garlic and cook 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add in all remaining ingredients. Cook 1 1/2 hours. Stirring a few times while sauce is cooking.
Step 3
Cool the sauce.
Step 4
Puree the sauce in a food processor or with an immersion blender.
Step 5
Refrigerate 24 hours before you use it.
Step 6
Use with any meat or chicken.
