Beef Goulash
"Another Chef in a restaurant I visit gave me this recipe. Some restaurants are so tight lipped about some of their dishes and some Chefs are more than happy to share with their patrons. This one is really delicious over a bed of garlic mashed potatoes."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large stock pot with lid, fry onion in lard until golden brown. Add meat and cook until meat is browned.
Step 2
Add paprika, marjoram, salt, pepper and garlic and pour 1/2 cup water or broth and cover. Simmer until the meat is tender (about 1 hour) As water or broth evaporates add more into the pot
Step 3
When meat is done uncover and let all the water or broth evaporate, then sprinkle the flour and stir until the flour browns. Add 1 cup of water or broth and let simmer another 10-15 minutes longer.
Step 4
Serve over a bed of potatoes or rice or even noodles. All go well with this dish. Enjoy
