Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Cut potato almost in half length wise.
Step 3
Place bay leaf between halves. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add butter if using.
Step 4
Place potato on a square of foil and close tightly.
Step 5
Place in a 400 F oven for about 40 minutes.
