Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat the broiler to high; arrange the rack about 4 inches from the heating element.
Step 2
Arrange the asparagus on a foil-lined baking sheet. Coat the asparagus with cooking spray.
Step 3
Broil the asparagus for 8 minutes or until almost tender, stirring once.
Step 4
Combine the panko, Parmesan cheese, lemon rind, canola oil, black pepper and salt in a bowl. Sprinkle the panko mixture over the asparagus.
Step 5
Broil for 2 minutes; drizzle with the lemon juice an melted butter.
Step 6
Serve and enjoy.
