Step by Step Method
Step 1
Dice the vegetables small.
Step 2
Heat oil and sauté in a large pot.
Step 3
Add a little salt so that the onion releases all its juice.
Step 4
When it is well sautéed, add the ground beef and brown.
Step 5
Season meat to taste.
Step 6
Add tomato, water and broth.
Step 7
Simmer 30 minutes
Step 8
Meanwhile, heat gnocchi in 6 cups heavily salted boiling water.
Step 9
When done drain, and add to sauce.
Step 10
Cook until tight.
Step 11
Seasoning to taste and top with cheese.
