"I love Anthony Bourdain and I miss watching him. Here's his tuna sandwich, he used Spanish tuna because he could. lol Just use regular tuna from the store you are shopping at. lol He may or may not used a dash of Tabasco, I'm not. But if you want to try it, go for it. And think good thoughts about Tony!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix up tuna salad.

Step 2

Season to taste, a dash here a dash there and divide tuna equally between 2 slices bread.

Step 3

Place lettuce equally on the soft white bread.

This recipe made some great tuna sammies. The Worcestershire is a novel idea and it works! I skipped the salt, because the tuna on its own has enough salt and because I felt like it needed a touch of acid, added a splash of lemon juice. I forgot to add the tabasco, but I know it would have worked beautifully. Used European style tuna (my absolute favorite) which encompasses Spain, Italy, Portugal, etc.. Thank you, Dee, for another wonderful recipe. Love your recipes, girl!

Good sandwich. I made 2 and added a dash of Tabasco to one of them because I'd never tried that before. Pretty good. Thanks for sharing this nice recipe, Dee. I miss him too.
