Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine the graham cracker crumbs and butter in a small bowl.

Step 2

Press crust mixture into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan.

Step 3

Combine condensed milk and coconut; carefully spread over crust.

Step 4

Bake at 350° for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.

Step 5

In a microwave, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter; stir until smooth; be careful not to scorch (check frequently).

Step 6

Spread chocolate over warm bars and sprinkle with almonds.

Step 7

Chill for 1 hour before cutting.

OMG - these are like an Almond Joy bar on peanut butter steroids!!! Delicious little bar cookie, I just adore the chocolate topping. I could imagine using that topping on so many things (brownies anyone?). Thanks so much for posting - these would be awesome on a Christmas tray!
