Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat broiler.
Step 2
Mix together stuffing mix & hot water..Let it stand 5 minutes.
Step 3
Remove stems from mushrooms, Chop stems.
Step 4
Cook caps top side in the pan with 3 tbsp butter or margerine.
Step 5
Cook until lightly browned. Arrange in an oven proof pan open side up.
Step 6
Add stems to fry pan, cook & stir until tender.
Step 7
Mix the stems with the stuffing mix.
Step 8
Fill caps with the stuffing.
Step 9
Drizzle with 2 tbsp butter or margerine.
Step 10
Broil 5-7 inches from the heat for 5 minutes or until heated through.
