Step 1: In a large saucepan, melt butter and oil. Add onions and peppers and saute till onions are translucent.
Step 2: Add sausage pieces and saute till browned.
Step 3: Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well, cover and cook on medium-low till potatoes are fork-tender but not mushy. By this time, the sausage will be cooked through also. Enjoy with a crusty piece of bread.
