Step 1: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente.
Step 2: Save 1/2 cup pasta water.
Step 3: Drain.
Step 4: Meanwhile, heat oil and saute shallots and garlic until translucent.
Step 5: Add red pepper flakes.
Step 6: Add capers.
Step 7: Add tomatoes and butter and cook a bit.
Step 8: Mash with potato masher.
Step 9: Add basil, chicken bouillon, pasta water and drained pasta.
Step 10: Add cream but don't boil.
Step 11: Toss and season to taste.
Step 12: Add cheese when hot and toss
