Step 1: Chop chicken into 1 inch pieces.
Step 2: Combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 tablespoon soy sauce in medium bowl;
Step 3: Add chicken, stir and let sit for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Combine sake, chicken broth,soy sauce, sugar, salt, cornstarch and sesame oil;
Step 5: Set aside.
Step 6: Heat oil in wok.
Step 7: Stir fry chicken 2 minutes until lightly browned.
Step 8: Remove all but 2 teaspoons oil from wok.
Step 9: Stir fry dried pepper and peppercorns briefly.
Step 10: Add minced ginger and cooked chicken stir fry 1 minute.
Step 11: Add seasoning sauce; stir until sauce thickens.
Step 12: Stir in peanuts.
Step 13: Serve over hot rice.
