Step 1: Core, peel and slice apples in 1/2 inch thick wedges (you may also dice your apples - for quicker cooking)
Step 2: Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium-low heat.
Step 3: Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Step 4: Sauté, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are tender.
