Step 1: Place the rice, onions, garlic and butter in a 9 inch round casserole dish.
Step 2: Bring the broth to a boil and pour over the rice mixture.
Step 3: Stir and cover with a tight fitting lid or a couple of layers of foil.
Step 4: Cook for 50 to 60 minutes in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven. Start checking the rice the 50 minute mark to make sure it will not be overdone. Give it a shake to make sure it’s not sticking.
Step 5: Remove from oven, fluff with a fork and serve.
