Hello and thank you all so very, very much for the prayers and concern. It's been a long haul and it may be only the beginning. For those who may care to know, 5 months ago, my big toe rubbed inside of my shoe. It sort of made a callous/blister that wouldn't heal. I have Neuropathy but no Diabetes. I put off going to the Podiatrist, and ended up with a bone infection. I was put on strong anti-biotics and couldn't tolerate one of them. I got sicker than I have ever been. Tom called the paramedics, but I wouldn't go to the hospital. Each of us knows our own bodies, and I knew that the pills were just too strong. Went to my family Dr. and he took blood tests. Called me immediately and told me to get to a Haematologist immediately. He got me in the next day, and the new Dr. took more blood tests. He told me that my red blood cells were large, high and that I make too much blood. I now have to wait another week to go back and see him. He mentioned a lower form of Leukemia, that can be treated orally, but since my mother passed away from Leukemia, I am understandably upset, nervous and depressed. I don't mean to go on and on, but did want to explain, so that you all will understand the problem. I miss you all, and terribly miss posting my recipes and chatting with you all. As for co-hosting 2 forums, I miss that so much. I feel a little stronger today and will try tomorrow to get some work done around here. My love and thanks to all of you, Diane

Diane continued prayers and good thoughts being sent to you. Thank you for sharing with us!

I need to ask for prayers please. Hubby came home from work tonight with a troubled look on his face. Next spring the warehouse that he works at will be closing and they are not sure if 1 or 5 people will be still working. I do not know what we will do if he is one of the people that gets let go. He has been there for 20 years and has a CDL license so that is one good thing in his favor. The Miller beer distributor a couple hours away will be processing and packaging orders for this office. The drivers will run their routes but the night crew will be losing their jobs. We would not have any medical insurance and we only pay $10 for generic and $20 for name brand medication. One of my meds is almost $400 and it helps my fibromyalgia pain. I am very very worried. :(

A lot better, for now. I am sure it will happen again, until I can get it pulled. I will have to learn to deal.

Can I ask prayers for my cousin? She is set to have a c-section today in a couple of hours. She has had a lot of problems with this baby, she has a 2 yr old that has had multiple heart surgeries, so we just all want a healthy baby, since it has been such a ride for her to get here. I am so far away, won't get to meet the new baby anytime soon, but I can't wait for pics

Baby girl is here, not sure what time, but she weighed 5 lb 14 oz, was 17 3/4 inches long, and her name is Hannah Faith...as soon as they send me pics I will try to post them..thank you all for the prayers...now if the other baby in the family is healthy in another month.....I love new babies though

Diane, thank you so much for the update I will continue to pray about your situation. I can understand how worrying this time is for you, just know we are all here for you.

Lori, I'll put your DH on my prayer list immediately. I'll also ask the Lord to give your family peace in this troubling situation.

Foxy...Thank you for the update and so glad Hannah Faith was delivered and is doing good.
