Woke up this morning to no running water! It is still dark here...so can't go out. The people on the next property have water (we are on the same system). So it is going to be difficult to ascertain where the problem is. Temps are still in the -20's C. Fun times in the 'hood!

Still in the deep freeze...-21C this morning. I have been keeping the downstairs fire going day and night. We have a blower that I turn on to give the upstairs (where we live) a boost of heat when it is very cold. Works like a charm.

I am resting today after that water situation yesterday! Spent almost 2 hours in the valve house with a hair drier on the pipe at -21C. It is underground and a small space. Needless to say my body is a wee bit stiff...nothing too bad. I guess I was holding myself tense while I was in the ground. LOL More fun times in the 'hood!
