One of those days when I feel like putting the 'have to dos' in a jar and pick one at a time! Yes going to be a busy day with much to do indoors but must get more potted plant in the ground as well and more tomatoes need doing! Good news is Allie is feeling much better and actually spending the morning back in her special chair. Tomorrow my gran gets the keys to the house they bought right here in town. Happy camper here! Thinking of you and sending hugs your way Patti.
As I think to the Thanksgiving weekend I remind myself - "Life does NOT have to be perfect to be wonderful. Smile every chance you get. Not because life has been easy, perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated, but because you choose to be happy and grateful for all the good things you DO have and all the problems you know you DON"T have"

Ingredients at the ready for making Feather Bread to go with our old fashioned potato soup, if time allows also a pot of Chicken Corn Chowder. Time being a factor will have daughter pick up Subway, they do make excellent vegetarian as well as regular, I may slice them instead of a charcuterie board. Today grans big day picking up the keys to their new home just blocks away and painting. We offered lunch as well as evening meals if the painting goes overtime. Color me happy!

In town yesterday with DH and Chico. Long day but productive. Did the clicks, just not the posting here.

Again...so busy forgot to post here yesterday! But the clicks were in.
Supposed to rain here for a couple of days and then some snow. Not unusual in the old days here.

Three days of family time made for a wonderful weekend. As we do on long weekends we did the holiday meal yesterday. May have drop ins today, also hoping it warms for outdoor chores still needing doing as it's still a chilly feels like 1 out there.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I am sure I have used this one at some point but I think being the 14th of October with so many outdoor chores still needing to be done plans will indeed need changing.

A lovely Thanksgiving and family time, along with moving the grans spent their first night in their new home on Sunday after painting getting the move made with a friend offering his trailer. Amazed at all they accomplished. And yes yesterday saw to my Thanksgiving turkey stuffing and cranberry sandwich for lunch. Hope all is okay at your house Patti.
My poor 'starving boy' Smokie is still on my summer schedule which saw me up before five and joined by my Allie. All are now sleeping, suspect they are thinking hey it's dark and cold out we are are not getting up! This aft Cathy has an appointment, decided to join her and pick up a few essentials for the never ending fall projects.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving for you and your family!!! And now having some of them close!! Wonderful blessings!
Rained here yesterday so was not able to trailer wood home. Ella and I have been bringing 3 trailers loads home each day. She has a large property like ours and the trees were aways in the bush. They punched out trails that wind around the bush and they have cleared several areas for taking down trees. So hopefully today we will be back at it. It is great exercise! Takes us about 2 hours.

Brought 4 loads of birch home yesterday and got it stacked. And DH brought home a trailer of cedar (for kindling). The big (2 bay) wood shed looks is getting filled nicely!
Have a glorious day!
