Re: ~ Click to Feed the Animals ~
Checking temps last night I was surprised to see we are in Red Alert for extreme cold for the next three days. Have to hope we don't have a heavy snow fall happen. So much for the reprieve I was hoping for. Yes it's cold! I do remind myself to be thankful that I do not have that wood haul to do in these bitterly cold days as you do Patti! Yet love and miss the serenity of country living.
I need to get to do a through water and deadhead clean in the garage which has just seen to the musts these cold days hoping to see it warm. Love working among my plants but in these temps better would be warm and cozy, a cup of chai tea and a good book! Like that is going to happen any time soon!

If we only paid attention to the Native Indian culture!!! Your quote says it all! Thank you for posting!
Still freaking cold here!!! Can Spring be far behind??? Still in the deep -20'sC overnight.
This quote reminds me of you Gerry...made me laugh! Good ol' Groucho!

Still in the Red with extreme cold warning and more to come, feels like forty below. A plus, a beautiful moon shining early this morning, hopefully we can say the same about the sun as the day progresses. I am so done with dark, dreary and cold.
Love that Groucho quote Patti! Hope you are not as cold as we are here. See a simmering pot of soup happening today!

We are sitting at -22C right now. The temps during the days have been warmer...not by much...but it is WARMER! BRRRRRR!!! Keep warm Gerry!!
In reference to your quote...if we all had that frame of mind...can you just imagine what a wonderful world this would be?!

Cold, cold and colder, still in the Red extreme cold warning. Wth the bitter cold I have limited my outdoor comings and goings but am happy knowing the fall rescue of momma and baby have appointments next week and will be setting up a big kennel to introduce them to the indoor group. Barring any major storms.
“The best therapist has fur and four legs.” Love your quote Patti as happy to have some the best therapists with fur and four legs around!

Still in the deep freeze as the Red extreme cold warning remains in place.
Have some plant lights needing to be changed as well as containers of planting mix to bring in and hopefully get Basil, old fashioned fragrant purple Nicotiana as well as the old fashioned white started. If the wind is as bitter as yesterday plans will change, have become flexible with these cold temps we have going for us here in Saskatchewan.

Re: ~ Click to Feed the Animals ~
I was hoping to see a warming, while a few degrees warmer we are still in the extreme cold warning. Tying to get motivated to deal with the cold to get to the garage plantings needing trimming, deadheading as well as needing to change some plant lights. That is supposed to be my relax time but the intense cold has seen me just doing the essentials out there.
Hope you are seeing to warmer days as that usually means we will see to it heading our way.
