Thank you for your morning quote Patti, kindness so needed in today's world. Hope your day goes well as I hope it does here as well.

Keeping the positive going as Allie has her appointment today and looking at me with a "I love you even if you forgot to feed me look" My dear sweet chihuahua loves to eat. A noon appointment requiring anesthetic is harder to prepare for especially when you have other fur babies getting to eat.

If reading into your message it sounds like yesterday was a good day for you! For me yesterday the wait was way over the expected time but good news is Allie is home and started recovery time.

A very nice day yesterday saw to getting the last of the have to dos done, while I foresee an enforced quieter day I slowly got the ten extra things a day done this morning. For some reason that included washing and polishing a lovely 'stainless steel' water pitcher that needs to be used. Thinking holiday time!

Thinking of you as you prepare for your family visit. Know it will make for a good many memories in the making!

Needing two zip ties each time the catio was opened to assure my catio door cannot be opened by momma saw me try the heavy duty twist ties, doesn't work with a super smart momma! Yesterday I was disbelieving as both momma and the babies ran to greet me! Back to zip ties~

Luckily I had mackerel on hand for the furbabies, it soon had even the shy one come running. And ... I had a mackerel/mayo/diced onion sandwich with lettuce for lunch. Been years and years, enjoyed it more than several of the cans of salmon I have had of late!

I may have to enlarge that catio as I am reminded they have to be six months old before their procedure. Meanwhile hoping to find indoor homes for the babies well before that!

Have wonderful family time Patti, I can almost taste your awesome meals and food offerings! Here managed to get the Chicken Cacciatore done for dinner last night. Unlike our old fav which I cannot find the recipe for I played with a new recipe. Added the optional chili flakes, rereading the recipe saw I misread the number seeing me with a delightfully spicy touch I love! Still hoping to find that old recipe as well.

Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts Gerry! :-) Family arrived at 11:20pm last night. It was a wonderful reunion!!! Lots of hugs! Did my clicks yesterday and with a lot on my brain...forgot to post...yet again! LOL Everyone here (except me of course) is still sleeping. Love a quiet morning! Off to start a fire in the cookstove to warm up the upstairs before they wake up.

Have a wonderful day Gerry! :-)

Thinking of you Patti, have to love family visits and time together.

Yesterday another mild day this morning we are at one, it's days like this that shorten our long harsh prairie winters.

Only one furbaby here still on spring and summer schedule the others are snuggling under the covers or in their favorite spot unlike Shadow and I~ Told him it's too dark to be up but come five or six but do you think he takes my advice! Hopefully soon.
