What? I am taking cranberry pills and drinking cranberry juice. It no longer hurts when I go and it seems ok now...

What do you mean die?
Bladder infections are extremely dangerous and sometimes life threatening. According to my gyno, the symptoms might lighten up but the infection truly will not go away without proper treatment. Please go see a doc.

I agree with Sue - sounds like something that shouldn't wait. I know cranberry is good for UTI, but it is only to help prevent them from occurring. I sure hope you will feel better soon, Dissie.

We did some yard cleanup today. BF spray washed the patio and our lawn furniture, plus sprayed off the front door and the stoop. It looks nice and clean now. We gave our grill to the neighbors, who were very grateful as they didn't have a full sized grill and use their smaller one all the time. We hardly used ours and I had been dreading cleaning it before moving. I feel really good that it went to someone who will get more use out of it. I asked if they'd like any of our canned goods when we leave and they said yes, so that is another thing I don't have to worry about.

Still packing - it seems like it will never end. We have to have everything ready by next weekend, which is when our movers come.

It was a very sunny day today, so it was perfect for getting a lot done - I feel like we got everything taken care of outside that needed to be ready before the move, except for a bit more weeding.

I had an eventful filled day, woke up at 6, helped make sure hubby was packed. He forgot the GPS. He wont get lost, but it sure would have made it easier on him. Since we live like 3 1/2 hours from the airport, he took a shuttle to the cities, but they don't stop in my town on Sunday of course, so had to drive him an hour away to catch it. He left at 9, caught his plane at 3 and is in MO. His uncle came and picked him up. Tomorrow they leave for ATL to pick up the Uhaul and load it, then he is heading back Tuesday. 24 hour drive straight through, so I don't expect him until Thursday. After my daughter and I dropped him off, we went to eat at Perkins. Love that restaurant. I had a huge burger, too big to take a bite, too tall. I cut it in half, knowing I couldn't eat all that. She had an omelette, pancakes, and fried taters. She couldn't finish it either, so we had a whole to go box full of food for her boyfriend. We shopped at Target, as we don't have a target near us, or a mall, and we went to the mall to look around. Came home and I took a nap. Washed clothes, cooked fish for dinner and now on here! That was my day!

Having a rough day healthwise today. My feet and legs feel like they belong to someone else when they are not throbbing! My fingers all feel like thumbs when I am typing ( I have had to go back and correct stuff in this post ) and my head is elsewhere. I am just going to do stuff on the machine I can point and click, then I am going to go into the livingroom and watch TV. Overcast and gloomy here.

Feel better soon, Shadows. Dis, I am glad that you seem to be recovering. Perhaps is wasn't actually a true bladder infection then, just a mild irritation. In any case, good to hear that you are no longer having pain.

We packed a lot today. Another pile is ready to get donated, our trash outside is full and out at the curb. We still have a bit more to pack up, but it is really getting much better now. I started calling around to all my local services to cancel them - it is getting close now!! :P

Yeah, she died from that.
I was pretty incredulous when I found out that was how she passed. They said that as women get older they are less sensitive and may not even know they have an infection, or not feel the irritation as much as a younger woman would. She may not have felt well but didn't put 2 and 2 together. When she went into respiratory failure because of it, it was too late.
I would still suggest you get a urinalysis to make sure it's gone. They can throw some antibiotics at you if it is still there.

Well DH got to GA, and went to U-Haul to get the truck. They said your reservation was cancelled by mistake. So he made another reservation at the desk, they gave him the address and directions. He went, wrong address, by the time he found it, it was closed. Getting a motel for the night and going to be there at 7 am. He was ok with it, I guess. He was annoyed, but I would have been so spitting nails. The owner of the company would have been called. I would have been calling and calling. Got that darn truck for cheaper, but he isn't that type of a person. I sometimes overreact. But sometimes you have to....
So set back like 12 hours. At least he will get a good nights sleep but still BS in my book.
