Funny to me that you said that Sue. Sarah was the reason I started watching that channel. I loved to see her show because she really seemed to know her stuff. She was informative and cooked food I would cook. The cooks nowadays cook food that we already know how to cook. BORING

Anyone notice that about food network now? It's all basic crap now, nothing to learn anymore. That channel is all about the beginner cook. What happened to seeing how chinese food made? Or Japanese food? They used to have programs that showed that. Remember door knock dinners? THey would show up and make food from what was in your fridge, pantry or freezer. Loved that show. Some peoples fridge would be vacant....just loved it!

I don't watch Food Network. I dumped expanded cable tv a long time ago since I don't really watch it. I do have basic and you can see good things on PBS.

Yes you can. I used to love watching food network, but have noticed lately its very boring to me. I am not an advanced chef now, but its just boring to me now. Used to love it.
