Pan-fried Chicken Breasts in Mushroom Sauce

Post by MsPia » Tue Jul 25, 2017 3:05 pm

Tisme brought to my attention that this recipe might have too much wine.
It had been I while since I made it the last time so I really wasn't sure if I had type in the wrong amount (300 ml), it did sound like a lot.
So I decided to make it to be able to correct it. I don't want people to say that at Recipezazz were are a bunch of drunks ;)
I made halve of the recipe since it is just me. And I do like it with all the wine, so no typo...I'm a drunk :o

Of course this does not make one or the other right or wrong. She gave a wonderful review and extremely helpful.
It is an example that I should follow. I admit that sometimes, afraid to hurt someones feelings, if there is something that I do not like that much...I just write a note to myself. And I really do not help the next person doing that.
Hmmm....I might ask Tisme to be my "review editor" ;) ;) ;)

Great tutorial Pia, that looks and sounds sinfully delicious!!!

Sometimes the types of wine make a difference also, some taste stronger than others, but, I am a wino so I would probably use the full amount

I love that saying "I cook with wine, sometimes I even put a bit in the food"

We can definitely cook together Bea :D :D
And it is true, some wines do taste stronger than others. You are right.

Great tutorial Pia! The recipe sounds decadent!
I also cook with lots of wine and beer, "a little wine in the dish a little wine in the cook!" _ Julia Childs from one of her shows. ;) ;)
